Python | Numpy matrix.repeat()
With the help of Numpy matrix.repeat()
method, we can get the repeated value from given matrix and gives output as 1-D array.
Syntax :
matrix.repeat(count)
Return : Return 1-D matrix with repeated values
Example #1 :
In this example we can see that we are able to get the repeated values from a given matrix with the help of method matrix.repeat()
.
# import the important module in python import numpy as np # make matrix with numpy gfg = np.matrix( '[64, 1; 12, 3]' ) # applying matrix.repeat() method Beginner = gfg.repeat( 2 ) print (Beginner) |
Output:
[[64 64 1 1 12 12 3 3]]
Example #2 :
# import the important module in python import numpy as np # make a matrix with numpy gfg = np.matrix( '[1, 2, 3; 4, 5, 6; 7, 8, -9]' ) # applying matrix.repeat() method Beginner = gfg.repeat( 3 ) print (Beginner) |
Output:
[[ 1 1 1 2 2 2 3 3 3 4 4 4 5 5 5 6 6 6 7 7 7 8 8 8 -9 -9 -9]]
