Python | Numpy matrix.conj()
With the help of Numpy matrix.conj()
method, we are able to find the conjugate of a given matrix having one or more than one dimension.
Syntax :
matrix.conj()
Return : Return conjugate of given matrix
Example #1 :
In this example we can see that matrix.conj()
method is used to conjugate the matrix. Remember string type of matrix doesn’t work here.
# import the important module in python import numpy as np # make an array with numpy gfg = np.matrix( '[1 + 2j, 2 + 3j]' ) # applying matrix.conj() method Beginner = gfg.conj() print (Beginner) |
Output:
[[ 1.-2.j 2.-3.j]]
Example #2 :
# import the important module in python import numpy as np # make an array with numpy gfg = np.matrix( '[1 + 2j, 2 + 3j, 3-2j; 1-4j, 2-3j, 7 + 8j]' ) # applying matrix.conj() method Beginner = gfg.conj() print (Beginner) |
Output:
[[ 1.-2.j 2.-3.j 3.+2.j] [ 1.+4.j 2.+3.j 7.-8.j]]
