Pratishthan Software Venture Interview Experience For SDE Intern
The Pratishthan Software Venture Pvt Ltd interview process was a thorough and interesting experience for me. My application was for a 12-month internship as a software engineer intern, with the potential to become a full-time employee (FTE) based on performance.
Round 1: Aptitude, Reasoning, and Verbal Round
Written tests covering basic aptitude, logic, and verbal skills were administered in the first round. The complexity of the questions varied from easy to moderate. These are the specifics:
Aptitude:
- Time and Distance
- Trains
- Ages
- Percentages
- Simplifications
Reasoning:
- Series Sums
- Analytical Reasoning
There were multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the test format. It requires rapid problem-solving abilities as well as a solid grasp of basic principles.
Round 2: Technical Interview
Having made it through the first stage, I received an invitation to the technical interview. This round lasted around one hour and thirty minutes and was conducted by two interviewers. My technical talents and academic projects received a lot of attention. This is an overview of the conversation:
- Self-Introduction:
- A brief introduction about myself, my background, and my interests.
- Project Discussion:
- A detailed explanation of the projects I had undertaken during my B.Tech.
- They asked me to explain the objectives, the technologies used, the challenges faced, and how I overcame them.
- Coding Tasks:
- I was asked to write code for specific parts of my projects.
- Additionally, they gave me two coding problems involving arrays and strings to solve on the spot.
- Machine Learning and AI:
- Since my projects involved Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, they asked numerous questions on these topics.
- The questions ranged from basic concepts to specific algorithms and their applications.
Round 3: HR Interview
The technical interview was followed by a few HR inquiries. These were more focused on getting to know me as a person, why I wanted to work at Pratishthan Software Venture Pvt Ltd, and how I would fit in with the team.
