Osculant Private Limited Interview Experience

I was searching for an internship last month that is April 2024

I came across various companies near my home. One of them was located in Vrindavan near the Banke Bihari Temple. As I was willing to go for the internship I realised I should go for the interview. The company name was Osculant Technologies Private Limited. Its main branch is located in Noida. The Mathura branch is its subsidiary. The company is located inside a Hotel. A room is provided for working. Some of the employees working there were my friends. They advised me to come for the interview. I made a beautiful resume to show the branch head. My friends asked me to change my resume as it was lacking in technical skills. We then made the resume sitting over there. The interviewer (branch head) arrived.

We were 2 friends gone for the interview.

• He went first for the interview. It took almost more than 20 minutes for the interview.
• He was hired & asked to join the company for tomorrow itself. Then it was my turn.
• The first and basic question of the interview was to introduce yourself.
• The second question was What was your B. C. A. Project?
• The third question was what did you do in that project.
• The questions kept on bouncing. He asked more than 20 questions.
• Next, every question was related to my resume. The fields I mentioned in my resume were asked. As I was a fresher I mentioned some of the subjects I studied during B. C. A.
• He asked in-depth questions starting from HTML to SQL.
• He then asks about explaining HTML.
• Then about the difference between HTML and C.
• Then about where is C used in today’s world.
• Then I replied C had finished from the market.
• He then said nothing was finished. There is an advancement in technology.
• Then about CSS then JavaScript then SQL.
• I have done a certification on Cyber security. He then asked if you have certification in Cyber Security and if is this your field of interest.
  I replied Yes, this is my field of interest but in Mathura, I don’t find a scope of it. He was Polite and humble. He suggested I work on my skills, gain knowledge &then go for things you are interested in the most. After all these questions I was selected for a tenure of 1 month & on a stipend of ₹5000/- per month (as this was an internship). I was ok with the amount as knowledge matters the most.

The next day I joined the company. I was the 3rd to reach the office. Later people kept on coming. We were a group of 8 employees, 6 full-time employees, and 2 interns. So the very first day was going ok. I was asked to learn the basis of HTML on the first day. I was learning everything. I then said I have learned everything next. They were saying to learn it first. Soon Lunch began. 1 hour for the lunch. There was a rooftop so we used to have lunch on the top. They were working on a software called Codenighter which works on the principles of Php & I had forgotten everything related to Php.

So my first day was the last day of the organization. My main reason for leaving was the software they worked on as well as the environment. The washrooms were not well maintained. The environment was not made for me as I was not comfortable with working with all the boys out there for my first internship. Also, Laptops were not provided, we have to bring our laptops for the company work. The cubical was Great. But I soon realized this was not a place for me.
