Nirma University Campus Experience

Nirma University, situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, holds a special place in my heart as it’s where I completed my Bachelor’s in Pharmacy in 2022. The campus, with its lush greenery, provided a serene backdrop for my studies, offering a perfect blend of academics and serenity.

My journey at Nirma began in 2018, with September marking the start of my academic adventure. The initial days were filled with excitement as we explored the campus during orientation, getting to know our professors and fellow students. Soon after, lectures and lab sessions began, immersing us in the world of pharmaceutical sciences. The professors, with their vast knowledge and supportive approach, made the learning experience enriching. The well-equipped labs provided us with ample opportunities to learn new techniques and skills.

The campus wasn’t just about academics; it offered a vibrant student life. Although the cricket ground was not open all the time, the badminton, basketball and volleyball courts were accessible for a quick game. Throughout the year, the campus buzzed with events such as quiz competitions, workshops, seminars, hackathons, cultural programs, concerts, sports days, etc. Many of these events were organized by students themselves, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and interests. The multiple canteens on campus served delicious and affordable food, making meal times enjoyable. The professors also helped to issue the Letter of Recommendation to students seeking further studies, while our advisor assisted us in choosing the right university for pursuing a Master’s degree.

Looking back, I’ve learned valuable lessons during my time at Nirma. I’ve realized the importance of actively participating in campus events, being part of various clubs at the university, nurturing relationships with professors, seeking help when needed, and building a strong support network of friends. For B.Pharm students, I would emphasize the significance of acquiring diverse lab techniques and animal handling skills, especially for those considering further studies in research.

In essence, my journey at Nirma University has been more than just academic; it has been a transformative experience that has prepared me for the future.
