Netaji Subhash Engineering College Admission Experience

In 2021, I was admitted to Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC) in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch. This college is a unit of the Techno India Group and falls under MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology). Admission to NSEC is based on the marks obtained in WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) and JEE Mains. Some special cases are also considered based on the college’s policies. Additionally, NSEC holds NBA accreditation for the branches of CSE, Biomedical, Electronics and Communication, and Electrical Engineering.

Admission Process

My admission process was quite systematic. A few days after my admission, I received an email from the college providing all the necessary details. This email contained information about document submission, fee payment, and orientation programs.

University Registration

After the college admission, I had to complete the university registration. The college provided specific dates for this process and handled it smoothly. The college staff were very helpful during this time and made the process easier.

Experience with College Staff and Faculty

Throughout the admission process and afterward, the department and office staff managed everything efficiently. All the staff members and teachers were very helpful. Whenever I needed anything or had any questions, they assisted me without any hesitation.

College Tour

Before the admission, I also took a tour of the college. During this tour, I saw the college infrastructure, classrooms, labs, library, and other facilities. This tour was quite informative and gave me a good understanding of the college environment.

Overall Experience

My overall admission experience at NSEC was very positive. I received proper guidance and support at every step. I believe I made a good choice, and I am very happy with my decision.
