Namma Yatri (Juspay) Interview Experience For SDE Internship

Internship Duration: April to June

Selection Process Overview: The internship selection consisted of three rounds, starting with an on-campus placement.

1st Round (Online assessment):

3 questions based on graphs.

2nd Round (Online hackathon part A)

One question based on trees, is to be solved within 3 hours.

3rd Round (Online hackathon part B)

Conducted on Slack via chatting. An extended version of part A where they inquire about your solution, space, and time complexity. Additionally, they ask to make the tree thread-safe. This round spans 1 to 2 days (from approximately 10 am to 11 pm).

4th Round (Interviews)

After the above rounds, 2-3 interviews are conducted. They delve into core subjects like Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and DBMS. Additionally, they pose DSA questions (e.g., Mine was Set Matrix zeroes) and puzzles (e.g., Camel and Banana Puzzle) to assess logical thinking. HR questions about hobbies and family are also asked.

For the interviews, it’s crucial to focus on your introduction as they will base the interview questions on it.

Interviews for Juspay and Namma Yatri are identical. Regardless of the role applied for, the company assigns roles based on interview performance. Product Engineers and SDEs have similar responsibilities within the company.
