solvedRequirements:- C++, DSA, Operating System, DBMS.

Eligibility Criteria:- B.E/B.Tech (CSE/IT)

CGPA: 7.00 and above (throughout career 70% including 10th & 12th)

I appeared in the on-campus placement of MAQ Software in October 2021 at the Birla Institute Of Technology, Mesra.

It was a total of 5 rounds of process:

ROUND 1 [Resume Shortlisting]

The standard resume shortlisting round is based on skills, achievements, and CGPA. They tried to shortlist those candidates who are hands-on in web development and machine learning.

ROUND 2 [Online Coding Test]

This round was conducted on the Hackerrank platform and consisted of 3 questions from Data Structures & Algorithms. The first question was a basic string question, the second was a medium-level Linked List question, and the third was about Trees. I solved all three questions in one and a half hours and was selected for the next round. A total of 10 candidates were selected for the next round.

ROUND3 [Technical Interview-1]

It started with a project discussion, and we talked about my project for around 10 minutes. After that, he gave me one basic data structure question from an array, and he wanted to hear all the approaches, from brute force to optimized approach. I was able to provide 3 different approaches, and he was impressed. Following that, he asked multiple questions on Data Structures, and I was able to answer all of his questions. After that, he asked basic Operating System and DBMS questions, about 5-6 in total. I was able to answer almost every question about Operating Systems and DBMS. I was selected for the next round, along with a total of 3 other candidates.

ROUND4 [Technical Interview-2]

It began with a basic introduction and project discussion. This round mainly focused on the Data Structure part. He asked one medium-level question about graphs, and although I was able to give an approach, it wasn’t optimized. Unfortunately, I got rejected in this round. Only one candidate was selected for the final HR round.

ROUND 5 [HR Interview]

I wasn’t able to give the interview, but one of my friends appeared in that interview. They ask casual questions and discuss about future scope and the team. And he clears HR rounds with ease.
