Shubman Gill is an Indian professional cricket player who belongs to Fazika, Punjab, India. He was born on the 8th of September,1999. Shubman Gill’s Father Lakhwinder Singh is a farmer. At an early age, he wished to be a cricketer but due to financial conditions, he was not able to become a cricketer. His Mother Keart Gill is a simple housewife. He has an elder sister named Shaheen Gill. His family’s main source of income was agriculture.
His father fulfils his own and his son’s dream by allowing Shubman Gill to play professional cricket and he practices cricket in his early days in the backyard of his house. After seeing the dedication and passion for cricket his father sent Shubman Gill to join the elite cricket coaching centre at Punjab Cricket Association Academy.
After joining the academy, Shubman Gill worked very hard to prove their dedication and passion for the cricket he had. In 2018-2019 he won the award for being the highest run scorer in the Ranji match. After that, he never looked back and started his professional cricket journey to play National and International Cricket.
