Solved Examples 30 Times Table
Example 1: If Ravi ate 30 almonds a day for 30 consecutive days then the total almonds eaten by him in 3 0days.
Solution:
Ravi ate almonds in a day = 30
No. of days he ate almonds = 30
Total almonds eaten by the Kabir = 30 × 30 = 900{Using table of 30}
Thus, total Almonds eaten by Karan is 900.
Example 2: If Shivam collects 30 marbles in a day then at the end of a week how much marble he has.
Solution:
Shivam collects marbles in a day = 30 marbles
Days in a week = 7 days
Total marble he had after a week = 7×30 = 210 marbles
Thus, the total marble he has after one week is 210.
Example 3: Using the table of 30 simplify 30 times 4 plus 30 times 2.
Solution:
By studying the table of Thirty we know that,
- 30 times 4 = 30 × 4 = 120
- 30 times 2 = 30 × 2 = 60
Now,30 times 4 plus 30 times 2 = 30 × 4 + 30 × 2 = 120 + 60 = 180
Example 4: Using the table of 30 simplify 30 times 4 minus 30 times 3.
Solution:
By studying the table of 30 we know that,
- 30 times 4 = 30 × 4 = 120
- 30 times 3 = 30 × 3 = 90
Now, 30 times 4 minus 30 times 3 = 30 × 4 – 30 × 3 = 120 – 90 = 30
