Example 1: If Ravi ate 26 almonds a day for 26 consecutive days then the total almonds eaten by him in 26 days.
Solution:
Ravi ate almonds in a day = 26
No. of days he ate almonds = 26
Total almonds eaten by the Kabir = 26 × 26 = 676 {Using table of 26}
Total Almonds eaten by Karan is 676
Example 2: If Shivam collects 26 marbles in a day then at the end of a week how much marble he has.
Solution:
Shivam collects marbles in a day = 26 marbles
Days in a week = 7 days
Total marble he had after a week = 7 × 26 = 182 marbles
Thus, the total marble he has after one week is 182.
Example 3: Using the table of 26 simplify 26 times 4 plus 26 times 2.
Solution:
By studying the table of 26 we know that,
26 times 4 = 26 × 4 = 104
26 times 2 = 26 × 2 = 52
Now,
