Operation of NMOS
The working of NMOS technology is like a switch. It can be turned on or turned off by utilizing a voltage control at its gate. In NMOS technology, whenever it receives voltage which becomes non-negligible then it forms a closed circuit. In this scenario, the connection between the drain and the source terminal only works as a wire. So, in this situation the flow of current is from the gate terminal to the source. When the received voltage is approximately 0V, then it leads to the formation of an open circuit. In open circuit, the connection between the drain and the source terminal is broken. Since the connection is broken between the drain and the source terminal, the flow of current is from gate terminal to the drain.
