King Charles III
King Charles III was born on November 14, 1948. From the time he was born, he was first in line to the throne. He became the Prince of Wales at age 9 and later studied at the University of Cambridge. Charles also served in the Royal Navy where he trained as a helicopter pilot. After his military service, he founded a charity called The Prince’s Trust.
Charles married Diana Spencer in 1981, and they had two sons, William and Harry. The couple separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996. After Diana’s death, Charles reconnected with Camilla Parker Bowles and married her in 2005. He became King Charles III following his mother’s death and was crowned on May 6, 2023.

King Charles expressed his deep sadness over his mother’s death through a statement, mentioning it as “a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.” Nearly eight months later, King Charles was crowned at Westminster Abbey in a ceremony attended by his siblings — Anne, Andrew, and Edward — alongside his wife, Queen Camilla.
