Given below are the stages of the IBPS Clerk examination 2023:
Stage-1: IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination
The preliminary exam of IBPS Clerk CRP XIII is an online exam that assesses candidates based on their aptitude, intellect and English skills. It consists of three sections and candidates must clear the cut-off of each section to qualify for the mains exam.

Candidates need to secure minimum cut-off marks in each of the three tests to qualify for the IBPS Clerk Main Examination. An adequate number of candidates from each category, as decided by IBPS, will be shortlisted for the Online Mains Examination.
Stage-2: IBPS Clerk Mains Examination
The IBPS Clerk Mains Examination pattern for IBPS Clerk 2023 remains unchanged. It consists of 190 questions to be completed in 160 minutes.

Penalty for Wrong Answers: Both the preliminary and mains examinations have a penalty for wrong answers. For each incorrect answer, one-fourth of the total mark that has been assigned to that question would be deducted. No penalty is applied for unanswered questions.
Calculation of the Final Score for IBPS Clerk Exam:
The final score of the exam is calculated using the following criteria:
- Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam (Stage-1) are not considered for final selection.
- Candidates must qualify in Stage-2 to be eligible for the final merit.
- The score(aggregate) out of a total of 100 is used in the final merit list for every category and candidates with top merit rank in each category are selected for the final appointment.

IBPS Clerk 2023 Notification Out , Exam Date, Apply Online
IBPS Clerk 2023 Notification: IBPS Clerk exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) for the recruitment of clerical posts in the 11 public sector banks all over India. This year, IBPS will conduct the IBPS Clerk Exam for the 13th year. The online application process for IBPS Clerk 2023 is active from 1st July 2023 and has been extended until 28th July 2023.
