To Calculate LCM we have many methods, some of the common methods are:

Using Prime Factorization
Using Multiples

Using Prime Factorization

Find the prime factors of each number.
Take the highest power of each prime factor that appears in any of the numbers.
Multiply these highest powers together to get the LCM.

Prime factorize 12: 12 = 2² × 3
Prime factorize 18: 18 = 2 × 3²
Take the highest power of each prime factor: LCM = 2² × 3² = 4 × 9 = 36

Using Multiples

List the multiples of each number until you find a common multiple.
The smallest common multiple is the LCM.

Multiples of 12: 12, 24, 36, 48, . . .
Multiples of 18: 18, 36, 54, 72, . . .
The smallest common multiple is 36.

Other than these there is one more common method i.e., LCM by Division Method.
