Exploring the Mysteries of the Rainbow
These inquiries have resulted in substantial research, experimentation, and investigation, which has resulted in a better knowledge of the phenomenon. Isaac Newton is a prominent pioneer who made huge contributions to the understanding of rainbows. Newton conducted numerous tests in which he passed white light through a clean prism. When the refracted light rebounded back onto the prism’s surface, it divided into numerous hues, with Newton distinguishing the prominent seven colors that comprise a rainbow.

7 Colors of the Rainbow: A rainbow is a multi-colored curve that emerges in the heavens following rainfall. It materializes due to the interaction of sunlight and water droplets, involving both reflection and refraction. When sunlight traverses through raindrops or water particles, the light undergoes refraction, and the droplets reflect it from their surfaces. Consequently, the light refracts at varying angles, leading to the manifestation of distinct colors. The different colors we perceive within a rainbow result from the differing wavelengths of light. As light undergoes refraction across multiple angles, these angles collectively give rise to different wavelengths, thereby producing an array of rainbow colors.
