Amrit Brikshya Andolan Eligibility
Residency: To be eligible for participation, applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.
Age: There may be specific age requirements depending on the nature of participation.
Eligible Groups: Participation is open to various groups and individuals, including Self Help Groups, ASHA workers, educational institutions, Village Defence Party members, Anganwadi Workers, Tea Garden Workers, and others as specified by the initiative.

‘Amrit Brikshya Andolan’ is a farm movement started by the Assam government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Hemanta Biswa Sarma. This campaign is to increase, by planting one crore seedlings, the state environment thus enhancing towards sustainability. The spearheading event was inaugurated on June 8, 2023, and it is the axis around which the Assam’s growth of green cover goes and develops the new tree-based economy.
