Fourth largest temple is Nataraja temple which is located in Tamil Nadu. It is spread across an area of 40 acres. This temple is dedicated to Nataraja and Govindaraja, forms of Shiva as the Lord of dance. It is a Hindu temple and one of the most ancient temples in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. It was built in 10th century when Chidambaram was the capital of chola dynasty where Lord Shiva was the main deity. Lord Shiva is represented in the 5 main halls or Sabhas where he’s performing Tandava. The 5 main halls are called as Kanaka Sabha, the Cit Sabha, Nritta Sabha, Deva Sabha, and Raja Sabha.
