Slider helps us to get a certain value using a given range. In this article, we will see how to disable a jQuery UI slider. The disable() is used to disable the current slider so that its functionality cannot be used.

Syntax:

$( ".selector" ).slider("disable");

Approach:

  • First, add jQuery UI scripts needed for your project.

<link href = “https://code.jquery.com/ui/1.10.4/themes/ui-lightness/jquery-ui.css” rel = “stylesheet”>

<script src = “https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.js”></script>

<script src = “https://code.jquery.com/ui/1.10.4/jquery-ui.js”></script>

Example:
