JEE to Galogita College of Engineering and Technology Career Journey

My name is Suryansh Shukla, and I hail from the bustling city of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. My journey to Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida, has been nothing short of an adventure, filled with excitement, nerves, and a whole lot of determination.

It all started with the JEE Mains, a test that many of us aspiring engineers take as a gateway to our dreams. Unfortunately, my results weren’t as stellar as I hoped, but that didn’t deter me. Through the AKTU counseling process, I managed to secure a seat in my desired branch – Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

I remember feeling a whirlwind of emotions as I received my admission confirmation. Excitement surged through me, knowing I was about to embark on a journey to pursue my passion. But at the same time, there was a tinge of nervousness, as this marked my first venture away from home.

The chaos of college registration days, the 29th and 30th of September, is still vivid in my memory. The campus was abuzz with students rushing to complete formalities. It was exhausting, to say the least, but I pushed through, determined to complete my registration.

As the college was set to begin on 3rd October, I moved into the hostel on 2nd October, bidding farewell to my parents. It was an emotional moment, leaving behind the comfort of home and stepping into the unknown.

Saying goodbye to my parents was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. There was a lump in my throat as I hugged them goodbye, knowing that this was the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

Settling into my new environment wasn’t easy, but I embraced the challenges that came my way. Every day brought new experiences and opportunities for growth.

Looking back, I’m grateful for the journey I’ve been on. Leaving home was a big step, but it was necessary for my personal and intellectual growth.

As I continue my studies in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, I’m reminded that success often lies beyond our comfort zones. With determination and perseverance, I’m carving out my path toward a bright future, one step at a time.
