I began my career at a fast-paced startup where I worked on developing mobile applications. While the learning curve was steep, I managed to acquire significant skills in project management and full-stack development. After two years, I decided to transition to a larger organization to gain more structured experience.

Selection Process at Infosys:

Online Application:

  • Submitted my resume highlighting my experience in mobile app development and project management.
  • Added a cover letter detailing my reason for transition and my career aspirations.

Online Assessments:

  • Completed two online tests: one on logical reasoning and another on technical skills including data structures and algorithms.
  • Both tests were challenging and required a good understanding of core concepts.

Technical Interview:

  • A 45-minute interview with an Infosys engineer focused on my technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.
  • Discussed data structures, algorithms, and my previous projects. I was asked to code solutions to two problems and explain my approach.

Managerial Interview:

  • A 45-minute interview with a senior manager where we discussed my role at the startup, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.
  • Emphasized my project management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discussed how I align with Infosys’s values and goals.
  • I was delighted to receive the offer from Infosys. This transition taught me the importance of adaptability and continuous learning.
