Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata Admission Experience For ML Research Analyst Internship

I applied for the research internship through the IASc internship program which provides an individual with a wide range of companies and colleges to start their career.

The process is quite simple and easy to grasp.

Step 1 – Application submission

The candidate has to visit the official website of IASc and fill out their application form. The application contains some very basic details but as per my experience, greater weightage is given to the writeup which explains an individual. So make sure that it contains the important information which can identify oneself. This is not just a block of content but provides an insight into who you are, why you believe yourself to be one of the beneficiaries of this program, how can this advance your career and some evidence to support your claim.

Step 2 – Application shortlisting

Based on the application, you will be shortlisted and will be allocated either a company or a college under a particular professor to start your internship. This provides an individual with the exposure required in their early life and also makes sure that they are aware of the current scenario as the topic of the internship usually ranges around the current problems.
