IIT Patna’s Three-Day Cultural Fest Experience( Anwesha ’24)

I had an amazing experience at Anwesha ’24, the biggest cultural fest at IIT Patna. It lasted for three days and was full of music, dance, art, and lots of fun activities. There were students from all over the country came to enjoy and participate in the fest. Here is my story of life at Anwesha ’24.

The first day started with a grand inauguration ceremony. The campus was beautifully decorated with colorful lights and banners. That day was all about Competitions, creative shows, dance battles, art and photography exhibitions, and many more. I also participated in the dance competition, named Heelturn and performed on the big stage for the very first time and surprisingly, I got 2nd position. The experience was terrific. Then, in the evening, I participated in the dance battle with my team and performed my best in front of 1000 people. Everyone was so supportive and cheering for us the whole time.

On the second day morning, I attended many workshops and interactive sessions. Experts from different fields held sessions on topics like music production, dance choreography, and creative writing.

Suddenly, I got a surprise from the IITP volunteer that there would be a singing performance by Coke Studio. So, I went there, they were distributing coke for free. I enjoyed the performance which lasted for 4 hours.

After that, I roamed around the beautiful campus of IITP and had some best talks with their students.

The last day includes a talent show, Fashion Show, Mr and Ms Anwesha, and more. I saw some unique and creative outfits designed by them. I also attended the prize distribution ceremony of different competitions and clicked some photos with the judges.

That night was unforgettable as I attended the GOAT (Greatest of all time) Amit Trivedi’s live concert. His powerful voice and energetic performance lit up the stage. He sang many of his hit songs like Namo Namo, and Udta Punjab, and the crowd couldn’t stop cheering and singing along. His performance was the perfect ending to the three-day fest.

Anwesha ’24 at IIT Patna was an incredible experience for me. I am glad I attended this fest, and I will always cherish the memories I made at Anwesha ’24.
