IEM Kolkata College Admission

I am a third-year B.Tech student at IEM Kolkata. I belong to the batch that entered college just before the COVID-19 era, so we were not considered the fortunate ones. I passed my class 12th board in 2020 and got into NIT Hamirpur through JEE Mains. However, due to COVID-19 and other reasons, I left it and started preparing for a better college. Unfortunately, in my second attempt, I didn’t score well enough to get into a better college and ended up in a worse one.

At the same time, I appeared for WBJEE and secured a rank of 4,000, which led me to pursue a B. Tech at IEM Kolkata. securing such a rank was not a simple task, WEBJEE mainly focused on the mathematics sections then physics, and then chemistry. if you have a good grip on Mathematics, you can grab a good rank and a better college parallelly. The college I am currently studying also takes admissions based on the JEE Mains rank. If you are considering admission, I would like you to visit the college website and you should participate in all rounds of counseling of the competitive examinations for B.Tech. You can secure admission to a better college.

It will take time in all of these but don’t lose hope. Stick to the process and stay updated to ensure success by searching on YouTube and college sites. Best of luck from my side!
