Google Interview Experience for Software Enginner

My Google software engineer interview turned out to be much more challenging than I had anticipated. The questions posed by the interviewers were unlike anything I had encountered, even in the IIT exam.

During the interview process, I underwent three rounds. In the first round, I faced interviews, while the next two rounds involved practical exercises where I collaborated with a team to solve real-life problems. These practical rounds proved to be particularly challenging due to the diverse range of questions asked during the interview.

Despite being from IIT, I found myself grappling with how to approach these questions. Fortunately, my direct placement from IIT allowed me the opportunity to interview directly with Google, where I advanced to the second round.

My breakthrough came during a presentation round where I effectively communicated my ideas. The support I received from the Google operations team, including guidance from their managers, was invaluable. Through their mentorship, I gained insights into potential interview questions, topics, and projects.

Despite the challenges, I persevered, and eventually, I received the call I had been waiting for. The manager from Google congratulated me on my selection, bringing immense joy to not only myself but also my family and friends. While I cannot disclose my exact salary, I can say that it exceeds the value of ten iPhones. This is the story of how I achieved my dream job through hard work and determination.
