GATE Exam Experience CS&IT 2024

Hello there in this article, I would like to share my GATE CS exam 2024 and preparation tips that you need to follow for any competitive exams. When I was in the pre-final year I was thinking of doing a master’s in top IITs, NITs and I came to know about the GATE exam which stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering which is one of the tough engineering entrance exams to get into central government jobs and masters, etc.

Preparation strategy

I have self-prepared during my second year starting with C programming and DSA which is a good start for beginners if you prepare for gate preparation then you will be preparing yourself for product-based companies also. I have followed NPTEL and YouTube lectures, especially by Ravindra Babu sir for computer networks and operating systems. Just prepare the syllabus according to the college timetable for academics then it will be easier for you to manage both academics as well as gate preparation. You can also purchase an online payment Gate preparation course or offline but it varies from person to person and according to me prepare yourself first so that you can get to know where you are. If you are a student who is going to start gate preparation then i would suggest NPTEL to go through since you will get quality lectures from IIT professors.

The questions were too tricky and maximum questions are from TOC, COA and Computer networks. Anyhow the exam duration is 3 hours and you need to leave after the exam time gets over. As i attended the questions which is very known to me.

GATE Results

As i secured just 30 marks with minimal preparation in Gate 2024 and the pass percentage for general category is 27 marks but passing a exam is not a big thing the main thing is to get good rank and score and get into any product based companies or top IITs in India. So follow your own style of learning and keep growing every day. All the best
