Angular PrimeNG OrganizationChart Templating
Angular PrimeNG is an open-source framework with a rich set of native Angular UI components that are used for great styling and this framework is used to make responsive websites with very much ease. It provides a lot of templates, components, theme design, an extensive icon library, and much more. In this article, we will see the Angular PrimeNG OrganizationChart Templating.
The OrganizationChart Component visualizes the data in hierarchical organizational data. The data is arranged in the tree format. The component provides a lot of properties, styling, events, templates, etc. which can be modified to create many variations.
Templating: This component can be used to enable enhanced customization, where the type property in TreeNode API, can be used to match the pTemplate type, so templating can be done per node.
Angular PrimeNG OrganizationChart Templating:
- pTemplate=”default”: By defining pTemplate as ‘default’, the property is applied to all nodes that don’t have a specified type attribute.
- pTemplate=”customized”: By defining pTemplate as ‘customized’, the property is applied to all nodes that have a type attribute defined with any customized name.
Creating Angular application & Module Installation:
- Create an Angular application using the following command.
ng new Beginner_angular
- After creating your project folder i.e. Beginner_angular, move to it using the following command.
cd Beginner_angular
- Install PrimeNG in your given directory.
npm install primeng --save npm install primeicons --save
Project Structure: The project structure will look like the following:
- Steps to run the application: Run the below command to see the output:
ng serve --save
