Angular MDBootstrap Media Objects Layout
MDBootstrap is a Material Design and bootstrap-based Angular UI library that is used to make attractive webpages with its seamless and easy-to-use component. In this article, we will know how to use Media Objects Layout in Angular MDBootstap.
The Media Objects Layout is used to build complex & highly repetitive components, that facilitates adding the media to an element, positioning the media alongside the content, without wrapping around it, etc.
Syntax:
<div class="media"> <img class="d-flex mr-3" src="link" alt="text"> <div class="media-body"> Content </div> </div>
Approach:
- Download Angular MDBootstrap from the official site.
- Extract the files to the current working directory.
- Install npm in the current project using the following command:
npm install
- After creating your project folder i.e. appname, move to it using the following command:
cd appname
- Start the server using the following command:
ng serve
Project Structure: After complete installation, it will look like the following:
Example 1: This is the basic example that illustrates how to use the Media Objects Layout in Angular MDBootstrap.
app.component.html
< div id = 'gfg' > < h2 >w3wiki</ h2 > < h4 >Angular MDBootstrap Media Objects Layout</ h4 > < br /> < div class = "media" > < img class = "mr-3" src = "https://media.w3wiki.net/wp-content/uploads/20220221143609/1.png" alt = "GFG_logo" > < div class = "media-body" > < h5 class = "mt-0 font-weight-bold" > w3wiki </ h5 > MDBootstrap is a Material Design and bootstrap-based Angular UI library that is used< br >to make good looking webpages with its seamless and easy-to-use component. </ div > </ div > </ div > |
app.component.ts
import { Component } from '@angular/core' ; @Component({ selector: 'my-app' , templateUrl: './app.component.html' , styleUrls: [ './app.component.css' ] }) export class AppComponent{} |
app.module.ts
import { BrowserModule } from '@angular/platform-browser' ; import { NgModule } from '@angular/core' ; import { BrowserAnimationsModule } from '@angular/platform-browser/animations' ; import { AppComponent } from './app.component' ; import { MDBBootstrapModule } from 'angular-bootstrap-md' ; import { FormsModule } from '@angular/forms' ; @NgModule({ declarations: [ AppComponent ], imports: [ BrowserModule, BrowserAnimationsModule, MDBBootstrapModule.forRoot(), FormsModule, ], providers: [], bootstrap: [AppComponent] }) export class AppModule{} |
Output:
Example 2: This example illustrates how to change the alignment of the Media Objects Layout in Angular MDBootstrap.
app.component.html
< div id = 'gfg' > < h2 >w3wiki</ h2 > < h4 >Angular MDBootstrap Media Objects Layout</ h4 > < br /> < div class = "media" > < img class = "d-flex mr-3 align-self-start" style = "width:20px" src = "https://media.w3wiki.net/wp-content/uploads/20220221143609/1.png" alt = "GFG_Logo" > < div class = "media-body" > < h5 class = "mt-0 font-weight-bold" > w3wiki </ h5 > MDBootstrap is a Material Design and bootstrap-based Angular UI library that is used< br >to make good looking webpages with its seamless and easy-to-use component. </ div > </ div > < div class = "media" > < img class = "d-flex mr-3 align-self-center" style = "width:20px" src = "https://media.w3wiki.net/wp-content/uploads/20220221143609/1.png" alt = "GFG_logo" > < div class = "media-body" > < h5 class = "mt-0 font-weight-bold" > w3wiki </ h5 > MDBootstrap is a Material Design and bootstrap-based Angular UI library that is used< br >to make good looking webpages with its seamless and easy-to-use component. </ div > </ div > < div class = "media" > < img class = " d-flex mr-3 align-self-end" style = "width:20px" src = "https://media.w3wiki.net/wp-content/uploads/20220221143609/1.png" alt = "GFG_logo" > < div class = "media-body" > < h5 class = "mt-0 font-weight-bold" > w3wiki </ h5 > MDBootstrap is a Material Design and bootstrap-based Angular UI library that is used< br >to make good looking webpages with its seamless and easy-to-use component. </ div > </ div > </ div > |
