Accenture Interview Experience

Accenture is a worldwide company that provides a wide range of services in several fields including strategy and consulting, interactive, technology and operations with digital capabilities across all these services. The company, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, has established itself as one of the global leaders in the provision of management consulting services and other related professional services. Clients from many industries have partnered with Accenture to deliver major change initiatives for which they provide creative answers and implement growth strategies. The organization has experience in various fields like health, financials, software development and marketing communication on the Internet.

HIRING PROCESS:

Stage 1: Cognitive, Technical & Coding Assessment

The test consists of areas like English proficiency, critical thinking and problem-solving, reasoning, Common applications, Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint pseudo-codes Networking security, etc.

It is a 90-minute test that involves 90 questions covering both cognitive and technical parts. However, the coding assessment is only open to eligible individuals.

The whole assessment should be done in one session. The candidates who passed the eligibility criteria also sat for the coding part where they had to answer two coding questions within the time frame of 45 minutes.

Stage 2: Communication round

There are six divisions in this section and it should be accomplished at one stretch. It’s not an elimination round but one who clears the previous round must go through this stage of communication.

Stage 3: Interview round

It started with a simple introduction in which I gave my academic background as well as talked a little bit about the things that I have done or achieved.

The interviewer wanted to know about some of the projects I had done. Specifically, he asked me to explain some of the challenges that we faced during our projects and how we(Team project) resolved those issues. When he asked “What is Java?”, I felt comfortable answering this question. I replied briefly and included a reference to the version of Java that I used for implementing my project.

Then he wanted to know, “How did I learn Android? Was it as part of my academics?”. I described my experience in learning Android on my own and how it has helped me in multiple projects.

Then he asked, to define DBMS. I answered along with an explanation mentioning my practical experience in this field.

After that, he asked for some SQL commands. I mentioned several along with their uses and their importance.  He told me to give a function that removes duplicate characters from the given string.

The total interview lasted for 15 minutes.
