Accenture Interview Experience

My Interview Experience:

Round 1:

  1. The first round comprised of 90 MCQ questions including aptitude, logical reasoning, English ability, Pseudo codes, networking questions, Ms. Office.
  2. Quantitative aptitude and Logical part were much more predominant, the questions were more intuitive and not typical paper pen/formula based. They were not very difficult but were very tricky.

Suggestion: I would suggest doing practice from sites like w3wiki, Indiabix, etc. as it will give the confidence to solve problems. The technical aptitude part covered questions from computer networks, operating systems, data structures (particularly trees), and C, JAVA Pseudo code questions.

Suggestion: I would suggest doing quizzes from w3wiki to get in touch with all concepts of C and other subjects.

Tips: Solve the questions with a calm mind. Don’t stress yourself during the test because you have to do 90 questions in 90 minutes. Don’t spend too much time on any question if you are not able to do it on the first attempt.

Round 2:

The second round is the coding round. The coding round at Accenture comprises two challenging coding questions, each allocated 45 minutes for completion. These questions are designed to evaluate candidates’ problem-solving abilities and coding proficiency within a time-constrained environment. Candidates may encounter algorithmic puzzles, data manipulation tasks, or real-world scenarios, requiring them to devise efficient solutions using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Success in this round hinges on candidates’ ability to analyze problems, devise effective algorithms, and implement clean and concise code to solve them. Additionally, attention to edge cases, optimization techniques, and code readability are crucial factors in demonstrating proficiency. Overall, this coding round serves as a pivotal assessment stage, highlighting candidates’ technical acumen and their capability to thrive in Accenture’s dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Suggestions: Solve example and previous questions from w3wiki website and any other that are useful ,that improves coding skills.

The third round is the Communication Assessment round. Accenture Communication Test is basically an online Test to check the candidate’s language spoken ability. One should be measured on 4 parameters in this Test.

It is a communication test that will assess you on the below parameters:-

  • Sentence Mastery
  • Vocabulary
  • Fluency
  • Pronunciation

You need to learn some topics of verbal to clearly understand the parameters of Communication Asssessment. It is not an eliminaation round. We can easily complete this round if we have fluency and grip on English language.

Tips: Watch some previous Videos and practice some exercise tests then it will be easy to clear the round.

Round 4:

In accenture interview totally depends on the interviewer you get.It is both technical and hr rounds. The Accenture interview experience typically begins at the designated time slot, such as 12:00, with Accenture welcome and introductions. Candidates are often asked to provide a brief self-introduction, highlighting their educational background, relevant experiences, and career aspirations. Following this, the interviewer may inquire about any group projects the candidate has been involved in, probing into the candidate’s role, contributions, and the overall outcome of the project. Discussions may delve into interpersonal conflicts encountered during the project, how they were addressed, and the candidate’s approach to resolving such conflicts collaboratively. Moreover, candidates may be asked to articulate the challenges faced during the project, demonstrating their problem-solving skills and resilience in overcoming obstacles. The interviewer may inquire about the feedback received from mentors or supervisors regarding the project, gauging the candidate’s ability to reflect on feedback and incorporate improvements. Candidates may also be prompted to discuss their least favorite subject and provide reasoning behind their preference, showcasing their self-awareness and analytical thinking. Additionally, questions may arise regarding the candidate’s choice to undertake a machine learning project despite being from an Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) background, allowing them to elaborate on their interests and motivations. Candidates may also be asked about their participation in hackathons or other competitions, highlighting their initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
